Every Rankbench release, with the screen to show it.
- Automatic backlinks settings are Settings rows, with one save bar
Automatic backlinks now lays out its setup steps, taking part and who may link from your pages as Settings rows, with a save bar that appears once you change something.
- Exchange rules reads like Settings, one rule per row
Exchange rules now shows each rule as its own row under Topics, Links and Who can ask, with the version in force on top, and Edit opens an editor that can change that rule.
- Find partners is a table you can filter, page and compare
Find partners now lists sites in one table with authority, sites linking, spam score and reply time side by side, marks the sites you already know, and goes past the first twenty.
- Link Exchange is now Backlink Exchange
Trading links with a site you choose is now called Backlink Exchange everywhere, and the Pro feature that places links inside articles is Automatic backlinks.
- Pages you share sorts pages by section, with a switch on each
Pages you share now groups your pages by section, like /blog, with a switch on each page for whether partners can pick it, and adding pages opens in a side panel.
- Partners shows live links each way and what each partnership waits on
Partners is now one table with the live links each way and the next step for each partner, and admins can end or resume a partnership from its ⋯ menu.
- Requests shows who asked you and who you asked, in plain words
Requests now has two tabs, Sent to you and You sent, with each request's status in plain words and Review and Decline right on its row.
- Rules for writers show every rule at once
Rules for writers now shows every rule at once, one row each under Topics, The article, Links and Your reply time, with the presets stacked on top.
- Backlink Exchange overview shows requests, exchanges and your listing
The Backlink Exchange overview now opens on four numbers, the requests waiting for your answer and your exchanges in progress, with your listing and partners to ask beside them.
- Billing and plan shows your plan and covered sites at a glance
Billing and plan now shows your plan, status, slots and renewal date as rows, and lists the sites it covers with yours first.
- Buttons, headings and statuses match across your pages
Page buttons are one size, Backlink Exchange card titles match the dashboard's, and a connected Google sign-in shows the same status as your email.
- Emails look like Rankbench
Every notification email has a new look: the button says the next step, the filler line is gone, and you can reply to any of them and a person reads it.
- Guest posts and backlink exchanges each have their own settings and rules
In a site's Settings, guest posts and backlink exchanges are now two groups, each with its own rules, summed up in a line and edited in a panel beside the page.
- My invitations is a list of your invite links
My invitations now shows your invite links in one short list, with each site's icon, and lets you make a new link from any of your sites.
- Notification preferences look and save like your other settings
Notification preferences are now rows with a switch each, like Profile and Settings, and one bar saves your notification choices.
- One email per article, and it links to the page
You get one email when an article is written, not a second one saying it is planned for today. "Is live" emails open the published page, the reminder names the article, and the email greets you by first name.
- People is one clear table, and invites say what each role can do
People now lists everyone on your site in one table, with their role, status and when they joined. Invite several people at once, and see what each role allows before you choose.
- Profile settings in the same clear rows as your site's Settings
Profile settings is now four short groups, Profile, Sign-in and security, Preferences and Notifications, with a list to jump between them.
- See how set up each site is, and what to do next
Website overview shows how set up your site is as a percentage, with one bar of the steps and the next one to do. The sidebar shows the same percentage until you reach 100%.
- See how set up your site is on the dashboard
Your site's setup percentage and its next step now sit right under the search on your dashboard, and the percentage shows beside Dashboard in the menu.
- Sign-in emails come from rankbench.io
The confirm, reset and sign-in link emails now arrive from no-reply@rankbench.io, so they no longer look like they came from somewhere else.
- The emails you wait for say something
The audit email carries your score, which way it moved and the three fixes to start with. The plan email lists the first articles and their days. The article email opens with its first lines, its length and its day.
- Verifying a site looks the same everywhere
Getting started, website setup and every Verify button show the same Search Console-first step, with Check my site always in view. Agencies see emailing the site's owner first.
- Website overview and Settings no longer repeat the sidebar as tabs
A site's two pages drop their Overview and Settings tabs, which repeated the menu. Each page is named in its heading, under your site's address.
- Website overview shows your site and what's running for it
Website overview now shows your site's details, its authority, Google clicks, health and content plan, and everything Rankbench runs for it, each with where it stands.
- Website settings on one page
Everything you set for a site now sits on one Settings page, in groups with a list to jump between them, and one Save for your changes.
- Website setup fills in your audience and topics
When you add a website, we read its homepage and fill in its main country, language and topics, so you only check them and continue.
- Website setup leads with Google Search Console
When you sign up or add a website, verifying it starts with connecting Google Search Console, with what it's for and what we do with your data said up front.
- Your site's main country saves as you picked it
Backlink Exchange settings let you pick several target countries but kept only the first. You now pick one main audience country, and that is what is saved.
- A health score needs five pages
An audit that read fewer than five pages shows no health score, rather than one worked out from a page or two.
- Findings leave out searches for your own name
Findings no longer ask you to rank for searches for your own brand, and the extra clicks they estimate rest on the searches a page already gets.
- Older guest posts open in the editor again
A guest post written for another site before it had rules now opens in the editor instead of an error page.
- Pages the audit did not reach are not called unlinked
When an audit stops at its page limit, the pages it never reached are no longer listed as pages nothing on your site links to.
- Restricted Search Console access says what to do
Verifying with Google needs owner or full access in Search Console, and a check that finds only restricted access says what to do instead.
- Search findings count each search once
Findings and the Search tab read one 28-day window of your Google data, so a search is no longer counted again for every sync, and findings on busy sites update again.
- The audit-finished email arrives
The email saying your site audit is done now reaches people on the default email setting.
- A dashboard that starts with your site
Your dashboard now opens on the site it reports on, with its clicks, health, authority and six months of work on the first screen.
- Agency setup for all your client sites at once
Agencies now answer each setup question once for every client site, and can verify them all with one Search Console sign-in.
- Ask AI from search
Type a question into search and choose Ask AI to get an answer about your site without leaving the page.
- SEO, priced in clicks
The SEO workspace now leads with clicks: what your fixes and opportunities could add, and the one job to start with.
- Verifying your site, with clearer steps
The verification screen now says what verifying unlocks, which method suits you, and what to do when a check finds nothing.
- An interrupted redraw carries on by itself
Redrawing earlier pictures picks up where it stopped if an update interrupts it, within the hour.
- Diagrams where a section sets out steps or numbers
Articles now get a clean diagram, in your colours, where a section lists steps, compares two options or states a set of numbers.
- Pictures drawn for your site, in its colours
Covers and pictures now use your site's own colours and a look chosen for your kind of business, and the Pictures card shows them before anything is drawn.
- An article goes out once
A second press of Publish while an article is being sent is refused, so it can no longer reach your site twice.
- Articles go out with their pictures, and the calendar says what is live
An article is published only once its pictures are ready, and the calendar now checks your site to show whether it is really live.
- Articles that read like a person wrote them
The writer now varies how articles open, uses the year only where a fact needs it, and drops the words that give AI writing away.
- Calendars fill their month by themselves
A verified site now gets its first 30-day plan without asking, and a month with open days finds more topics overnight.
- Opening an article no longer saves it
Opening an article in the editor no longer marks it as edited or sends it to your blog again.
- Publish on a free blog in one press
If your site has nowhere to publish, one press creates a free blog with your site's name and look, and your articles start going out the next day.
- An audit that reads no pages says why
An audit that could not load any page now says why, and you can run it again straight away.
- Long articles finish writing
Long articles no longer fail partway through writing after two minutes.
